I prefer natural pain to walking around like
the Little Mermaid paying Lyrica the Evil
Drug Witch with my life and voice for feet
of burning coals and a round moon face,
sores in my mouth and throat, dry burning
eyes, unable to speak or sing, unable to
think & dream; sleepy, falling and twitching
with black-outs & muscle spasms, growing
deaf and blind while my teeth’s falling out,
burning in a Purgatory of inflammatory hell
I paid penitence in Pregabalinic Lyrica hell
for all the sins of vanity and pride
I have ever committed in my life
