Anastasia Chronicles Part 7 [edited]

Sundays were really interminable, Anastasia was drawing

on a Slasto stone and was bored because her ability was

limited in the extreme, finally she gave up & wandered off

to see what her brothers were doing, she found Peter Pan

Climbing on to the roof at an astonishing speed using a

thick pillar without a rope of course - when he slid down

again, his speed had increased - though wearing a dress

Ana knew this art was something she had to master, she

Was wearing shorts from the same fabric so it seemed quite

apposite to go mountaineering in her gear, as Peter ran off

Ana climbed the pillar imitating Peter with great success,

delighted she climbed right to the top of the roof, sat there

A long time admiring the view feeling like a queen at the

top of the world, finally the wind growing cold, she made

her way down, sliding down the pillar she imitated Peter

again, but his technique - dexterous handling of culvert

And pillar - required more skill than she had - her small

hands failed to meet around the thick pillar, she lost her

hold and tumbled down to land hard on her back; it was

a great shock and as she stared at the sky, Attila the Hun

Came passing by, calmly cutting the grass while whistling a

tune to himself, Ana overjoyed at finding a victim to whom

she could recount this incident, breathlessly confessed her

mountaineering transgression hoping that her prowess

Would really impress Attila, her favourite elder brother for

whom she had deep admiration - she expected praise as

she waited - but he was lost in his own thoughts and not

listening to what the adventurous girl was telling him

Therefore his only reply was Ohmygoodness, so glad you

were not hurt - and he moved on - feeling deflated after her

shock and elation, Ana went off in search of another source

of entertainment, boredom really IS the bane of my life

The eternally seeking girl thought as she lay down on the

grass to enjoy the sun in her face - I wish I were grown and

so busy there would never be time to wish for something to do...
