Going To Fly And Dance
Lady Catherine The Great saw Peter Pan playing at
at being a sea star moving through palace passages
with sea-star-arm-suction attached to the walls, without
touching the floor - Peter was enjoying himself and the
Lady just rolled her eyes and went somewhere else
where there was less sea-star-action going on, but
Anastasia's inquisitve eyes followed every move Peter
made, soon she was playing at being a sea-star herself,
arms and legs spread out and attached to the walls, not
touching the floor as they quietly suctioned about, it was
some of the best fun Ana ever had in those long, unending,
eternal days in which Ana was bored - she had already read
All the books in the bookcase - except for the few she really
detested, like the story of Quasimodo - ever since she had
found she had developed a hunchback in resonance with
the suffering of the deformed dwarf; Ana suctioned around
with a small whistle in her pocket, her Magic Flute and not
knowing what the Mozart opera was about, she was unsure
Of its significance, but got on the merry-go-round made of
old tyres whistling away as she turned round and round - the
sea-star-suction went well until Lady Catherine saw Ana's
Peter-Pan star-fish-act and getting a migraine, chased her
away to go play outside, Ana laughed and ran off, she was
going there anyway, she had prepared a magic wand
Silver foil covering a stick and was going to fly and dance
in the front garden with it...
