Lyrical Literature Of The Days Of Yore

Every morning Sir Malcolm Norton, a Don Quixote Knight

writes an Amira-Ode for our Wonderland site, and every

morning I wait with bated breath where Sir Knight’s long

sentences will lead tongue-in-cheek - his lines a delight

as everything he has ever thought of creeps into these

meandering paths leading the avid reader into the high-

ways and byways of an imagination that is colourful and

bright, and as Sir Knight brings education to all the joyous

and boisterous inhabitants of Amira’s Wonderland site,

he sadly laments – I’m teaching you modern creatures

the lyrical literature of the days of yore, yet your reaction

to my eyes remain an eyesore, I espy no single insight,

you remain oblivious to all the humorous bits I add to

every single line - I’m sorry to hear you say that Sir

Malcolm, Alice burst forth, I know we all suffer from

attention deficit disorder, blame modern technology,

but here I am on my white steed, and she blandished

her sword, let met help you fight ignorance by spreading

your tongue-in-cheek words far and wide, let us tackle

windmills one by one and not all at once, even I realize

there is chronological order and will force myself to

abide to the time frame that is right!
