And all this, Anastasia thought, reminds me of that day
in Elspark - we can sort out the historical details later,
when the Queen of Hearts was dressed up, all very smart,
ready to go to work and Lady Catherine, alias grandma
Cinderella, looked at the Queen with such a SAD expression,
so much sadness, not hatred, reflecting in Anastasia's eyes
The look was filled with chapters of meaning, it could launch
a thousand ships and setting off destroy whole continents -
and Ana's heart was pierced on seeing this overpowering
emotion in Grandma's eyes - and another shard of ice-cold
shock lodged in Ana's already broken heart, all pierced and
badly hurt - Ana turned away and went off to Wonderland
And found herself an apartment to live as far away as possible
from that very sad house filled with lack of love - it made her
want to cry and sink into the earth never again to rise -- so
much pain a mere human cannot fathom, Ana told herself...
