Louise’s Daydream

Louise was reading a book when Rudi walked in, still
wearing his spacesuit, back from an intergalactic trip;
overjoyed to see Louise again; he combed his fingers
through the silky cascades of her thick, black hair;
swung her high into the air, waltzed around with her
in his arms; kissing her lips; then putting her down,
he took out the crystals he collected on the planet
Ballyhue, crystals glowing in green and red and
yellow and blue, also unique white crystals, with
a pearly sheen - glittering with a million diamond
faces; crystals so pure and wonderful that when he
struck them with a tuning fork, they reverberated
in clear and beautiful tones

Louise was entranced, eyes shining bright; while
she fingered them in awe, Rudi demanded a reward
for the bounty he had brought, he said she had to
ransom the crystals from him by surrendering
her mind and body and heart to him; he gathered
Louise into his arms and carried her to bed; she
laughed and tried to tell him all about the book she
read; but he listened not; kissed her words away and
whispered her mind right into a Wonderland where
only love holds sway – so it was on the next day,
when Louise got to play with the lovely fine-tuned
crystals, that he got to read her account of all the
books she read while he was away…

Wake up Louise, it is time to get ready to leave, say
goodbye to your uncle and aunt and nieces - I looked
up, Rudi was standing there minus the spacesuit, but
still handsome in my eyes, I smiled – reality is better
than any dream I’ve dreamt….

Set My Soul Free

I love the pictures of fairies in my encyclopedia
published before the Second World War, when
Word War I was referred to as The Big War -
and the Milky Way was the only galaxy

I grew up with an archaic world view filled with
fairies and dragons and dreams - but that made
my discoveries of modern astronomy and quantum
physics all that more enchanting

When I discovered the lavishly illustrated Time
Life Books in the library - when I finally discovered
how big the universe - and read many alternative
theories on its origin

And the black molasses called dark matter & dark
energy holding all together - I was overjoyed; the
little world of my youth was only illusionary - the
multiverse is still growing bigger

And more theories on EVERYTHING are surfacing
daily; though I still fall into the Black Hole lurking
in my mind; I always find new alternative theories
within infinite probabilities

And another Wu-Li Master Dance of non-substantial,
highly charged, electromagnetic energy - to
pull up my spirit and
set my soul free!

Conferring With Fairies And Crocodiles

Alice greeted the visiting ladybird most
cordially, it was a moment of quantum
magic, with the faster-than-light speed
of a tachyon, I left this earthly abode
to join Alice in wonderland, conferring
with fairies and crocodiles…

A Confession of Depression

A picture of a unicorn, a picture of a dream,
an animal from mythology – one I’d like as
my patronus; I wish he were with me today
to keep my brain waves safe, one to keep the
trolls away who invade my brain and make
it impossible to get anything done; even my
story fades until there is none, I am more
alone in my head than before, it is an awful
existential experience, reminds me of the
situations of pestilence described in Sartre’s
stage plays, characters sinking into garbage
cans; I am waiting for Godot to come and
safe the day – Godot never came; only Wayne
Dyer’s book with me with its assurances of
our godly nature – mine has turned Vogon;
I have none of that godly feeling one with
positive all-encompassing loving spirit; in a
bid to see all problems as non-existent I tried
to smile and socialize – it did not work, I’m
sad to say; my Vogon poetry led to readers
feeling bereaved of good philosophy; I
apologise especially to my main detractor
who saw through the thin veneer of my sham
humanity, right to the crocodile underneath…

Swallowed By A Dragon Myself

I’m not interested in your shenanigans, I’m
not interested in anything, I don’t care to fight
monsters and dragons, it pretty much feels as
if I have been swallowed by a dragon myself

I’m inside the dragon, wallowing in the blackness
of dragon intestines and combing through the mine
of spiritual wisdom I’ve stored in my mind whenever
I’ve been bored enough to dig for pearls of insight

But though I try with all my might to take off in flight
into a new spiritual life; all I see in my mind’s eye is
the scenes enacted by my characters who have been
living in strife, even their shenanigans fail to elicit

A chuckle from me – so who is watching whom, am I
the observer or the victim, why don’t I laugh at the fun
my characters create in the story unfolding in my head;
why do they act independently of the me who is thinking

That I’m not interested in their shenanigans, am I not
interested in me? - if not - and the work on my table is
growing more wearying and immaterial by the minute -
where did my spirit go, is my body ill, or is it my mind

Who is on the blink as Wayne Dyer indicates? Maybe a
new edition of the Spanish Inquisition would be the only
viable solution to the existential dilemma of withdrawal
and depression in lack of interest in existential being

And consciousness aware of sensory stimuli – although,
to me, this is dragon-time, empty of meaning, empty of
me, I’m lost without my spirit, does the soul still exist;
if it does, it has become a dragon itself, swallowing

Time and meaning, devouring space and being, leaving
only empty space where I used to be…

Looking At An Ice Fantasy

Looking at an Ice Fantasy, knowing I have
no energy, reading a promise - there is a
solution to every problem and the question
should be How may I serve thee - and not
Gimme, gimme, gimme - I have no energy

How may I serve thee, I’m not asking gimme
more energy; if I could meditate, calm my
mind and look within, I would plug my mental
socket into spiritual energy; right now I’m
plugged into physical reality; it’s boring and

Humanbeingdom doesn’t mean anything to
me; How may I serve thee? – I don’t give a
damn, I feel fatigued and sleepy, have not
made contact with the spiritual being within
me, maybe it has deserted to another planet

Where more fun is to be had; in my office all
is quiet – the only excitement is in my mind
where an Ice Fantasy is coming alive; How
may I serve thee…

Love And Best Wishes Rudi

For the Farm.

I will forward you 100.000 Euro
for the down payment on the farm
You just go and pick out one -
A hundred hectares, for me is fine!

I'd love a lake, failing that a stream
later on if we wanted a swamp
We'd encourage some beavers in.
Any kind of shack will do

How does that sound to you?

Love and best wishes Rudi!

A letter from Rudi to Louise, her reply:

Rudi, I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE you!
