Bartoli - Maria Callas - Sumi Jo as well as Olga
Vilenskaia, and then, at age nine in 2021, came
Victory Brinker with a beautiful voice, technique
still developing, strong breath control & radiant
tones, though not in control of her voice when
singing legato & high notes - but what a feat
Pointing me to the divas who have been singing
this aria - astonished that a child desires to sing
this: how strange, how wonderful, opera will live
on with new talent willing to learn these arias
In order to keep delight alive…
