Our Own Hearts Bleed

The highest value in life and love
is accepting responsibility for
everything that touches mind
and heart

Never ignoring the consequences
of every choice we make, every
action we take, never claiming
the effect

jurisdiction, knowing the pain we
cause others reverberate in our
own hearts

All we do and say touches our own
emotions as much as those of our
victims, every time we cause hurt
and injury

Our own hearts bleed...
