Time Is A Circle

Time no longer chronological for me
time is a circle, I am caught in the middle
turning in spirals around and around and
around, time magnified to a single repetitive
moment imprisoning me, I cannot move on
to another place, caught in dissatisfaction and
inability, words freezing my heart and feelings

I am a corpse tied up in chains, duty keeping
me bound in my chair, despair in my heart
means no escape anywhere, unless leaving
myself behind, this is a magic I have to find

Being unteachable, enclosed in the deepest
darkness in my heart, till death do us part
body from mind

Will escape from physical reality set me free
or will emotional pain and material failure
accompany me to the etheric planes, will
my astral body suffer the same mental
limitations I dealt with on earth?

I wish I could be a materialist to see complete
release from awareness at physical death, then
all my troubles would be at an end - no such
luck, I cannot deny my own soul and spirit,
try as I might…

Excellent lines! We need pathos, like we need Yin.

Maybe materialism is like Yang! Your pathos is emerging but maybe that's not so bad, if everything balances out.

I'm not making any sense, am I? I just mean we can be too bright, and sometimes feeling bad is okay. Very beautiful writing above.

Iris is the rainbow.

The shadow is what, I don't know. I don't really believe in Jungian psychology, but perhaps it's Jung's concept of the shadow.

We push to hard to make things bright and glorious sometimes. Sometimes they're just as they are or meant to be. These words are more for me than you, I guess.

Emmanuel Kant said our concept of chronological time is something we impose on reality - and it is horrible to lose the ability to experience time as chronological. It happens to me and then everything has to happen at the same time, or not at all - the feeling is awful.
